Parents, what song/s you dedicate for your child?

Natalie Merchant's "I must be one of the wonders"

Bryan Adams' "Everything I do" could be applied to a child... depends on how you feel.

I sang constantly to my children.

They heard the "traditional" lullabies, as well as "You Are My Sunshine" which they still find comfort in when sick even as teenagers. I also tied the music to an action, such as rubbing their back, or cheek. Son was too ticklish, so he got a thumb rub as he grasped my finger. Daughter to this day falls right out when I sing and gently rub her cheek.

I also sang songs and inserted their names. One of them spelled their name, which meant they could spell it as easily as they could say it early on.

I still came in second in the singing contest.

I remember a version done by Joe Cocker, shewolf but I don't think it was his originally.

Yeah, Bear just said it was Joe Cocker. That's the only version I know.
