No kidding. From the caption: "Did they realize what they were singing?! Gail Farrell and Dick Dale sing Brewer and Shipley's song "One Toke Over The Line," on The Lawrence Welk Show. Lawrence describes this song as a "modern spiritual". Ummm, okay, I guess so, "technically"..."

PS when was this cover done?? Welk's been dead for over a century and his band and singers are all in jail.

I would drink some a my dads beer until I started burping and then wed have a burping contest. My mom would go to their "rec room" and watch the show. My dad and I would watch THE RIFLEMAN or JOHNY YUMA.

I just listened to the song and ,ROTFFLMAO .It reminded me of the "Lumberjack song" where the singers gradually get clued in to the words.
