How to deal with a bad review - one that is misstated

Nice – I actually found support on our network against one item that my boss said I needed improvement on it.

During our meeting one of the points I made was that a certain item was actually a strength of mine and that I implemented a change beginning of the year to facilitate certain communications. I mentioned that during an audit meeting I was complemented (by outside parties) on this communication and it was suggested that I continue doing this. My boss disagreed during our performance meeting stating he and others suggested I do this during this audit meeting and it was started later in the year as a result of their suggestions.

I did say I will see if I saved the filed with the information and send it to them supporting my statement. I just found it and forwarded it on. Nice, now if I can only find some other stuff. Even though I am leaving, I still want to prove them wrong. In a professional manner of course.

Linkat, so glad to hear about the new job! And yeah, I think 2 weeks' notice is the way to go... that way you can prove your professionalism once and for all.

You must be so relieved! Congratulations!
