The Fake Story is that Obama has been sued for the money the US paid Iran. Whether you think the Iran deal was a good idea or not-it was a settlement of a past debt the US owed Iran, which coincided timewise with an exchange of prisoners between the two countries-the president who made it would not be personally responsible for the money. Any more than Trump would be held responsible for the money paid to the construction design firms to design a prototype of the Mexican border wall if the wall ends up not getting built.
