We need to PACK Pennsylvania Ave this Saturday at Noon from the Capitol to the White House, hundreds of thousands of us taking a stand to BRING DOWN the NRA and all their bought-off politicians. Their reign of terror and these massive gun deaths must end! NOW is the moment. This revolt is being led entirely by the students from Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, FL. They have organized this march and we all need to be there. There are already over 800 “sister marches” in towns across the country (and the world) happening at the same time on Saturday! This is a teenage rebellion the likes of which has never been seen in this country. Please come be part of history. Saturday, March 24, Noon. Washington, DC. We’ve never been closer to ending this madness. The NRA is on the ropes. Please give up a day this weekend and come to DC. We’ve already had 3,000 MORE gun deaths in this country in just the few weeks since Parkland! INSANITY! 77% of this country doesn’t even own a gun! Why do we let the marginal few control the laws? It’s time to show up and be heard! Saturday! DC! Be there!!!

I suggest none of them join the organization then. Now they can all stay home.

The First Amendment protects our right to exist. No one is bringing us down.

@McGentrix,
The NRA is a political organization with some pretty unpopular opinions. They are a perfectly fair target.

@maxdancona,
I acknowledge the students' right to whine at us.

But all we do is defend civil rights. The idea that civil rights are unpopular is pretty Orwellian.

@edgarblythe,
The outrage is not because those kids are walking out of school.

The outrage is because those kids are falsely accusing us of causing the shooting when those kids themselves are responsible for tormenting the poor kid until he snapped.

The outrage is because those kids are demanding that our civil rights be violated for no reason other than that they think it would be fun to violate our civil rights.

“One only wishes Wayne LaPierre and his NRA board of directors could be drafted to some of these scenes, where they would be required to put on booties and rubber gloves and help clean up the blood, the brains, and the chunks of intestine still containing the poor wads of half-digested food that were some innocent bystander's last meal.”

“Nikolas Cruz, the shooter at my school, was reported to the police thirty-nine times.” Alfonso Calderon, a co-founder of Never Again, said. “We have to vote people out who have been paid for by the N.R.A.. They’re allowing this to happen. They’re making it easier for people like Nick Cruz to acquire an AR 15.”

Early morning coverage by our local ABC channel says it's half a million. But, he soothed us, "most of you believe it won't change anything."

@oralloy,
The outrage is, that the elected officials do literally nothing to protect all people. Protect by enacting laws which prohibit purchase of any weapon to a person under the age of 25! Protect by not selling any assault rifles to anybody. Protect by having real and meaningful background checks on each and every person who wants to buy a gun.

@edgarblythe,
Thousands in Boston; no official crowd numbers yet. This is what it looked like on the Common.

Over react much? These ideas, just like most anti-gun laws are complete drivel. The country is far too large for this BS.

@McGentrix,
Each if these kids should go home with the mission to "un-elect incumbents" who are proudly in the NRAs pockets and who continue the talk-talk stall tactic about effective gun legislation..
