HOW THEY STOLE IRAQ'S OIL ...

1) They attacked Iraq - using taxpayers' money.

2) The US oilgovernment siezed control of Iraq's oil, including the sale of that oil:

America has now proposed that "... Britain and the United States - known as The Authority - would decide how income from the sale of Iraqi oil would be spent."

3) They are going to spend the sale proceeds on "reconstruction" - meaning that American oil companies like Halliburton will get the money:

These are the companies that funded the Bush admininistration and its personnel into power. These are the companies that provide many of the personnel in the Bush administration:

These corrupt oilmen will make $billions from Iraq's oil, from oil-industry-related contracts - and even more by manipulating global oil markets, using their new control over the world's second largest supply in Iraq.

It is nothing but armed robbery on a gigantic scale.

WAR IS INCREASING TERROR!

"Mr Rumsfeld acknowledged that Iraq may have destroyed all its chemical munitions and weapons of mass destruction before the US-led invasion..."

The "war on terror" has made the world a more dangerous place and created divisions which make conflict more likely:

The war on terror was never about terror. It was always about oil.

When America attacked Iraq and siezed their oilfields there were no weapons capable of threatening America, Europe, or even Israel.

American attacks decimated Iraq's civillian infrastructure. They guarded the oil while unguarded schools and hospitals were looted. These "liberated" people are left largely without food and water. They are living in squalor and deprivation, thanks to the illegal, unjustified war that has "liberated" their oil for corporate America.

First Afghanistan, then Iraq. Next Syria, Iran and other oilcountries could also be set attacks and the theft of their oil.

Why was the Iraq war called part of the "war on terror"? Iraq had no links to terror.

Even if they did have WMD they had no weapons that could reach outside their own borders.

It clearly should have been called the "armed robbery of oil".

No weapons. No terrorists. Only oil.

Iraq's oil money - $20 billion hidden by US so far and counting

A United Nations panel has found that the US-led occupation authority failed to exercise proper controls over Iraq's oil industry and could not say how much oil had gone missing since the fall of Saddam Hussein.

The International Advisory and Monitoring Board report also said there were "important weaknesses" in the management by occupation officials of up to $20bn in Iraqi funds, mostly from oil sales.

US politicians have often accused the UN of incompetence and, perhaps, corruption in its handling of the oil-for-food programme, a scheme to alleviate Iraqi suffering under sanctions before the war. Now the boot is on the other foot.

Revenue 'lost'

The panel, which also includes representatives from the IMF and the World Bank, expressed particular concern about how large contracts paid out of Iraqi funds were given to US firms, such as the oil services group Halliburton, without competitive bidding.

Other problems identified included weaknesses in administration, inadequate accounting systems, poor record-keeping and a failure to follow procedures that had been agreed.

The panel's report says the US-led authorities also failed to deal with widespread smuggling of Iraqi oil out of the country immediately after the war. Nobody knows how much revenue for reconstruction was lost as a result.

It also says there were inadequate controls to prevent the misuse or theft of funds at Iraqi government ministries.

Right. No one would notice that...

Suppose it's like an exxon station? A supertanker pulls up, captain leans out "Fill 'er up!" and then they just leave?
