I think I saw her and her husband on Broadway, but I can't remember what play it would have been. Why do you need someone to play Paula Prentiss in your biography?

I've been trying to find an actress to play the part of Gertrude, but none of them really look like her. I did stumble upon a woman who bears a striking resemblance, but I'm not sure if she can act...

I'm not sure it matters if she can act. Remaining motionless would probably be sufficient.

My very best friend in Chicago would be played by Melba Moore.

Lightwizard – I would have guessed John Goodman.

To play it would have to be Jodie Foster. Not only have several people committed that I look a lot like her, I also would not be embarrassed as she appears to be a respected and intelligent person. My two daughters (with dark hair though) may be able to be played by the two youngest in Full House. Stephanie appears to be adequately bossy as my older girl and the two Olsen girls (when they were little) have enough personality to fit my spunky youngest one.

My husband is tough. Maybe Christian Slater.

My dad Walter Mathow (spelling?) and my mom Sally Field.

Paula Prentiss and Richard Benjamin did a repertory of Alan Ayckbourn plays on Broadway in the 70s called The Norman Conquests. But Brandon, surely you're not old enough to have seen that, are you?

Paula Prentiss was like a female Jeff Goldblum. Tall, dark, smart, offbeat on the surface with a sexiness, as Brandon said, that's unique. All their own.

My youngest brother will be played by Glynn Turman.

I cant seem to find a picture of Dijmon that will post???!! Mad
So i will try again: he would play my father :

And rethinking who would play my first husband, I would pick Woody Harrilson. He is the great ' stupid ' character that everyone loves and he can also pull off the - love to hate- behavior my first husband was known for.
http://i.imdb.com/mptv1.gif

There are many other important characters in my mind that I would love to see on the wide screen. And, since I am currently finishing my book, I am continuesly remembering people who played important roles in my life that would fit an on screen story . But.. to keep this thread from becoming a montser, I think I will stop posting pics now. Heheh.

Paula Prentiss has a great voice, as I remember, a feature I don't share, alas.

That's right! Her voice was deep. Sultry. Kathleen Turner had nothing on her.

My pet, Snuckles, of course, would play himself. Snuckles would have to be in the movie because he is an integral part of my life. Every day when I go check the mail, Snuckles hides behind a log, then jumps out and "surprises" me. It's a game we love to play.

I'm gonna miss Snuckles when he's gone...

Snuckles is quite a good name for a faux pet.

Ma and Pa Kettle, dadgummit, I haven't seen one of those since around '51...

Is Martha Raye your lil sister or big sister?

Malkovich, coolllllllll.

My mother (at her old age) would be Joan Rivers. And when younger, by this Joan Rivers impersonator:

My dad. Arturo de Córdova, but of course.

Myself:

A young Marlon Brando:

...and a middle aged John Malkovich:

I'd cast Salma Hayek as my wife...
http://www.nalip.org/conference2004/images/Speakers%20headshots/Salma%20Hayek.jpg

but I'd fear she'd impose Halle Berry for her role:

(Gotta think about 1st wife, children, brother and friends)
