No. The truth is not a lie.

It doesn't matter how inconvenient you find the truth to be. The truth isn't a lie.

I might also add, even if I had actually been mistaken, that wouldn't be a lie either. An honest mistake is not a lie. An untrue statement is only a lie if there is deliberate deception.

If the speaker knows that he is saying something untrue, that falls within the realm of deliberate deception.

If the speaker does not agree that the purported "full facts" are correct, there are at least two other possibilities:

a) The speaker has made an honest mistake.

b) The speaker is correct, and the purported "full facts" are erroneous.
