@MontereyJack,
Wrong again. You and Farmerman are the only people here who confuse opinion and ideology for facts.

Farmer clearly has spent his life in sciences
You've spent your life playing video games. That indicates the respective believabilitties.

@MontereyJack,
Nice appeal to authority fallacy.

No amount of your logical fallacies will change the fact that you are denying reality again.

@oralloy,
That you think climate change is a leftist narrative is prima facia evidence you are confusing ideology with fact.

@MontereyJack,
Leftists are the ones who are pushing the narrative and demanding that everyone accept it as true.

@oralloy,
False. It's the whole spectrum of science, those well informed and able to realize logically, and the political spectrum except raving over right wingers.

@MontereyJack,
Wrong again. It was an appeal to a non-authority (Farmerman).

The fact that Farmerman is not a real authority does not change the fact that you committed an appeal to authority fallacy.

@MontereyJack,
Zealots who suppress data whenever it is inconvenient to them are hardly scientists.

And no, the demands that we accept this phony science are coming from the left.

@oralloy,
There are literally hundreds of scientists pursuing their own independent research who have come to the same conclusion CC is real, it's primarily human

@oralloy,
Farmer is in fact a real authority. And the hundreds of scientists doing real research agree CC is real qAis mainly human caused and will have large consequences. You guys are the ones blind to the real science.

One of the points of the cartoon is that global warming hysteria is leftist nonsense. Note the "socialism" and "hammer and sickle" on the bottle of poison.

I think the girl is supposed to be that kid who rants at the UN -- the one with the "how dare you" nonsense.

It certainly is a fact that climate change got no to little coverage in the USA until the late 1980's/90's.
And by this, you didn't notice that many other countries took action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions already before 1990.

The World Council of Churches put the concept of sustainability on the international political agenda for the first time as early as 1975 with its call for a "sustainable and responsible society" - when climate change was not yet the focus of social attention.

At the end of 1988, even Margaret Thatcher was advocating action against human-induced climate change ... ...
