Why did my time not refresh after my turns? Starting off with 11 seconds is a little disconcerting.

i played one of the higher rated computer players, and even though it skunked me - it increased my rating
i think the same thing happened with colorbook
when i played against a person it didn't change my rating because we were both provisional players
