I took pictures of protestors at the Bush inauguration. They cannot be posted here but may be viewed by going to discussions.pbs.org and clicking on the washington week topic..... inauguration... not for everyone.

That seems like a pretty good website. I am wondering why the pictures can't be posted here?
Thanks for posting. Bittersweet memories came back of protesting in the 70's. It's not the same, but I can't put my finger on it.
The protestors were tucked well away from Mr. Macho. Only Bush supporters were afforded the good spots along the parade route. The amdnistration wanted to assure a lovefest. Typical Bush affair.
It is similar to the controlled events held in a dictatorship.
I guess....the cops wore black instead of brown.
Every time I see Bush at one of his rallies I keep visualizing the pictures seen of Hitler standing on a podium in a stadium in front of 1/2 million nazi's. Who are standing saluting and screaming zieg heil.
I am not comparing Bush to Hitler just there methods of crowd control.
Can someone point me in the right direction at the pbs site....?

I like the older fella with the sign that looks like an eagle is midflight.
That was so cool.
By the way, I was on the North Carolina float at Carters inauguration so I have a lot of photos of the protesters...(yes they were there back then). One guy had a Henry Kissinger mask on. Maybe I'll scan em someday.
Don't know why pictures can't be posted here but I took others ar the republication National convention & tried to post them here. I got banned 3 times and gave up.
