Red wine is considered good for you, too!

I'm like MsOlga - I dont have wrinkles, either! Twisted Evil

The combination of red wine and chocolate has fixed that - or my eyesight is now so bad I can't see a thing!

Either way - higgerance is bliss!

Value of the dollar doesn't affect me, not planning any oversea trips. Son doesn't mind, he gets more dollars for his tuna exports to Japan.

But, ya know, it seems so wrong, so unfair (!) that our humble Oz dollar should take such a beating because of the ineptness, the sheer mismanagement of inferior o/s economies!

Think of the Oz travelers .. hinge, dp, Deb, margo! They could end up in DIRE financial circumstances in foreign places!


(Actually, this is just me grasping at straws, trying to change the subject. But you already know that, don't you? Smile Wink )

Ofcourse I feel sorry for the trio you mentioned, nothing worse seeing a well planned vacation being spoiled by circumstances beyond your control, I sincerely hope the dollar will recover to some degree prior to their date of departure.

we bought some gbp and E a while ago. Not enough for the whole trip but it has eased the pain a little.

You can become a bit obsessed about exchange rates while traveling, can't you? I know I've been there & done that ... quite a few times now.
