MEMA Placed On Standby Status
State Safety Officials Meeting At Bunker

BOSTON -- The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency has been placed on standby, and public safety officials are meeting at the bunker, officials said Wednesday.

There have been reports that the FBI office in Boston received a call from an FBI office in California warning officials about a suspicious person that may be in the area. There have been no specific threats made, but FBI agents in Boston have been put on alert, and officials started to gather at MEMA at about 1:30 p.m.

BOSTON (Reuters) - Federal authorities are seeking to question four Chinese nationals believed to be in the United States amid reports of a possible "dirty bomb" threat in Boston, authorities said on Wednesday.



Federal prosecutors in Boston released the names and photographs of four Chinese nationals whom they want to question in connection with "an unspecified potential threat to the City of Boston."

Huh. I haven't heard anything about it either. Go figure! Maybe I should tune in a station from San Francisco to find out what's going on right down the road.

Ah well, if you hear tomorrow that a dirty bomb went off in Boston it twern't me! I learned my lesson with dirty bombs when I chased myself out of the house after eating 3 cans of beanie-weenies. Very Happy
