@TheCobbler,
I'm not "hiding" insanity. I am insane.

But what is sanity, that we mindful of it, or set your heart upon it?
There were people prior to COVID, wearing a mask of normalcy. They embraced the new normal pretty quick. Then they got swept up in a war that had nothing to do with them.

It is insane to be so influenced by words or numbers on a page.

Yet you call me insane, when I know who I am, what I am about, and tell you the honest truth about things.

You have no idea how big a pawn you are, yet you blindly go along with things because that's what normal people do.
https://s.abcnews.com/images/Health/people-wearing-masks-lyon-france-getty-200824_hpMain_20200824-090515_2_4x3_992.jpg

That you think this is normal, and call me insane makes me laugh.

Ha ha, hahahaha, ahahahahahahahaha, mweheheeee, hohohoooo.
(continues laughing)

Insane refers to unsound of mind, the inability to think clearly, distracted or delusional. That's the first definition. I could maybe, maybe squeak by with definition four in that the way I think is not "normal" or "practical". But since the people around me are very much distracted by shiny objects (look it, CNN says some plane crashed in the Philippines)
https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/04/asia/philippines-air-force-plane-crash-intl-hnk/index.html
and get swept up in fads to the point of regularly saying "pray for Philippines" or wearing some kinda stupid badge over Ukraine
https://i.etsystatic.com/16964468/r/il/658b3a/3718919330/il_340x270.3718919330_eyz5.jpg
which of us is fixated on distracting crap, and deluded by false images? And which of us has no delusions or distractions, and keeps their mind focused on what is really going on, the mismanagement of our country?

I bet you have lost the train of what I was trying to explain to you, and are now focused instead about the news article about the plane crash. Even though it's a year old, it keeps you from dealing with the fact that you're not facing basic logic issues with the idea that business could be willingly suspended foe two years on two president's watch. Yes, I have no delusions that Trump was any better, because he was unable to put the brakes to this madness. Nor the economic depression that followed.

@izzythepush,
See what? All you showed me is that you're a lackey, unable to care enough to make a main argument against someone. That makes you a idiot, btw.

If it were not so, I would expect at least 100 words tellimg me why I'm the idiot and you're not.

But you can only say "see" as though this were somehow proof of what you said.

I've met "yeah, what he said" people before. There's no free ride, not economically, not intellectually, not anywhere. We have to stand upon our own merits.

And I'm Cobblers lackey too, as is evidenced by the fact we've never disagreed about anything. He's never put me on ignore. We've never argued about the definition of Republican.

When Bulma is wrong, he's really effing wrong.

@izzythepush,
I'm still waiting for that 100 word thesis about how I'm stupid and wrong.

Or here, prove that you have a decent college education and do some reading comprehension.

Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown
Quote:
Once there was a little bunny who wanted to run away.

So he said to his mother, “I am running away.”
“If you run away,” said his mother, “I will run after you. . .

For you are my little bunny.”“If you run after me,” said the little bunny,
“I will become a fish in a trout stream
and I will swim away from you.”“If you become a fish in a trout stream,” said his mother,
“I will become a fisherman and I will fish for you.”

“If you become a fisherman,” said the little bunny,
“I will become a rock on the mountain, high above you.”

“If you become a rock on the mountain high above me,”
said his mother, “I will become a mountain climber,
and I will climb to where you are.”

“If you become a mountain climber,”
said the little bunny,
“I will be a crocus in a hidden garden.”

“If you become a crocus in a hidden garden,”
said his mother, “I will be a gardener. And I will find you.”

“If you are a gardener and find me,”
said the little bunny, “I will be a bird
and fly away from you.”

“If you become a bird and fly away from me,”
said his mother, “I will be a tree that you come home to.”

“If you become a tree,” said the little bunny,
“I will become a little sailboat,
and I will sail away from you.”

“If you become a sailboat and sail away from me,”
said his mother, “I will become the wind
and blow you where I want you to go.”

“If you become the wind and blow me,” said the little bunny,
“I will join a circus and fly away on a flying trapeze.”

“If you go flying on a flying trapeze,” said his mother,
“I will be a tightrope walker,
and I will walk across the air to you.”

“If you become a tightrope walker and walk across the air,”
said the bunny, “I will become a little boy
and run into a house.”

“If you become a little boy and run into a house,”
said the mother bunny, “I will become your mother
and catch you in my arms and hug you.”
“Shucks,” said the bunny, “I might just as well
stay where I am and be your little bunny.”

And so he did.
“Have a carrot,” said the mother bunny.

This is dumb kid's story, but it's also an allegory. Tell me what it's about. Any educated person will be able to do this, so if your education (nvm intelligence) is anything to crow about, you ought to manage it easily.

@TheCobbler,
Who says? I actively want us to stay out of war with Ukraine and Russia. We can't do anything about what other countries are doing to us, but we can damned well stop trying to colonialize land that isn't ours in search of more oil.

You want to talk about hypocrisy, you moght start by looking at everything you've already said. I have repeatedly told you that I don't support any government. You expect government to set you free. Good luck with that!

President Trump's had Russia, China, Afghanistan, Iran, and North Korea under control. The Middle East was doing quite well.
Biden's foreign policy is pathetic. His domestic policy is not much better. He has to be considered the worst president ever.

That is a surprisingly delusional comment, even from you, Neal.

The one thing Trump can claim without objection is his own place as, by far, the worst president of the United States EVER.

@NealNealNeal,
In fact, his foreign policy is:
Gas prices soaring? Unemployment high?
"Look look! Ukraine invaded Russia! This is all because Ukraine invaded Russia!" You may think I have this backwards, but without a teleprompter , this is exactly what he would say.

Sure, let's ignore the fact that these problems were the case well before the "unprovoked" attack on Ukraine. And in fact, started with COVID (which was pushed primarily by liberal leaders like Northam), and continued due to doubling down on climate policy.

I'm reminded of my favorite book series, Deltora Quest. They describe the kings of Deltora and how originally they have the castle open and wear the belt all the time. But gradually they become distant from the people and only look outside (where there's a glass showing a perfect kingdom), and get fat from easy living at the castle and take off the belt.
Likewise, in One Piece, the elite live in a castle well above the sea, and are completely removed from everyday problems, so that one of them is shocked that the overwhelming sentiment is that people don't like them (they expect to deal with the random rebel with a military admiral, so they think people who hate them is an exception not a rule).

Prior to Trump's election, I read Armageddon : How Trump Can Beat Hillary. It discussed in depth how out of touch Hillary is (not just Biden, but other democrats are all so used to being democrats that their title "democrat" = "rule by people" has become ironic), that she never personally bought groceries, that she didn't type on her computer herself, etc. It eventually talked about how naturalized immigrants will support Trump's plan to keep out illegals, because they often came from countries wrecked by bad socialist policies. And it was right. But then the party of "the people" so could not explain this loss that they blamed it on Russian hacking.

You are so deluded that you fully believe what you are saying.

We can verify the overall softening of tensions with North Korea, Afghanistan, etc. During Obama's office, Afghanistan was a thing, during Bush Jr, it was a thing. Taliban was still spoken about.

Hillary predicted war if Trump assumed office. Trump stayed out of conflict with Russia, you could literally accuse him of being chummy with most of these leaders, but nevertheless we didn't get into any fights. This is how good foreign policy avoids war. Be economically independent, and leave other countries ' borders alone.

We shoot off our mouth about NATO, and Russia gets alarmed. "Unprovoked" my ass.
We have an almost guaranteed solution with Afghanistan, go up and make a pledge to help Afghanistan fix its country and defend it if necessary. Even I, brilliant statesman that I am, could basically phone that peace in as Trump left it. Biden runs away like a little chicken-wuss
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uhOszkd3s6o/U-EY8PvnetI/AAAAAAAACtQ/05_HsT8uGTg/s1600/before_Dollet_2.jpg
and leaves behind both our own troops and our US Afghan contacts. Taliban sees this utter weakness and immediately retakes Afghanistan.

So explain how we are deluded, when you have clear evidence of contrary events. Oh wait, you can't. Part of delusion is denial of evidence.

Where was Qanon in all of this? Nowhere to be found.

Qanon is fake... Republicans are corrupt, they are the source of pedophiles and their kind are ineffective in law enforcement.

Fake religion, fake concern about children and fake politicians.

Republicans are anti government because they want to evade the law to do criminal things. They don't wear masks because they don't care about people.

We don't need your Qanon, we have law enforcement and democrats (liberals) who are moral and capable of protecting children.

@TheCobbler,
It's interesting. The right also accuses the left of being a pedophile ring.

This leads to one of two conclusions:
1. Pedophiles aren't in a political party. They are too concerned with molesting kids to vote or being involved.
2. Leftists are hardcore projecting. This is consistent, as most pedophile priests are in the LGBT spectrum (gay priests, for instance) while most of the right is too moralistic to even consider such a thing.

Actually we're anti-government because we've already seen the government **** with our children's minds, and if Pizzagate is to be believed, they do a fair amount of ******* with children's bodies. Oh yea, I'm real busy having a lawless existence. I get up, I play video games, I do chores, I occasionally work on our yard, either farming it, cutting bushes, weeding, or mowing. Sometimes I go to our public library. Sometimes I go to thrift stores. The most perverted thing about me is I have a women's clothing fetish and like to crossdress. I'm not into guys, and not doing this to trick anyone, I like what I like, and generally leave everyone alone. And yes, I would prefer to not be bothered. But every liberal I've ever met has these traits: (1) they are moralistic hypocritical harpies that want to tell other people how to live, so they support government so that it can do so at gunpoint; (2) they like writing stupid laws that apply to everyone but them, and they never ever follow their own rules; (3) they are in favor of slavery and class systems, as can easily be seen by the left imposing masks on others but when the camera is off, they happily remove their own masks even while reporting others; (4) they like terrorizing little kids (this is how I know that the left is behind pedo stuff) extending to telling them they will DIE if they don't mask up, thanks for brainwashing my nephew btw; (5) What else? Oh yeah, they like to hide behind the mask of being for the people, but not only are they insufferable snobs, but they are actively involved in population control schemes.

You are pro-government, but perhaps you should consider what you place your trust in. The government wants: at least 10% of your earnings, 10% that you are expected to set aside when you have no idea what sort of expenses you'll have in a given year; money on property; you to give up all weapons so they can coerce or even kill you if need be; permission to brainwash you significant other with feninist propaganda; permission to feed your kids leftism or at least pro-government sentiment so they'll hate you by teenage years; to make your children fight in needless wars; and eventually inflate the economy to the point where all of your earnings are wiped out.

I don't trust liberals because they preach tolerance, but I've had the most love from the church (no matter the way I look), and I don't trust the government because I don't believe it's anyone's place to tell me how to dress, or what to do with my earnings, or how to live my life. If Biden had his way, to get people to show the appearance of economic success, he'd force people to work. Most conservatives work without issue anyway, but they'd stop if all their efforts get eaten by taxes.

It's nice to see you guys fighting amongst yourself.

This is the difference between the left and the right. The right has everything from anarchist types to log cabin (a euphemism for gay conservative) types to ultra-religious to Ayn Rand atheists. They generally believe in economy and personal boundaries and leave each orher alone.

Leftists don't get along with other leftists, and the party would cannibalize itself if there was no right to attack. Don't believe me? Ask a TERF lesbian how she likes being in a bathroom with a pre-op transwoman.

Here you are defaming each other. Ask me how often I use the reputation button. But you know what? I'm gonna upvote his post.
