EhBeth--

Galleries sound interesting--Chelsea sounds interesting--if we can arrange a meeting spot.

Unfortunately I have no cell phone--and no plans to acquire one.

We should be landed, with luggage stowed somewhere, about noon. (does that sound about right?)

Frank and Lola and I stopped in here Chelsea Market on our wander around Chelsea - lots of interesting little places to eat - look around - admire plants.

I'll recommend it as a good meeting place in the early afternoon - whaddya think?

Chelsea Market sounds good.

We will have to fine-tune the exact meeting place, but this can be done.

My "real life" is coming closer.

Chelsea Market is, I think, a good venue as there are so many places to just sit and rest - or sit and eat a cookie - or sit and chat - or sit and have a good panini - it's inside (protected from any elements which might be getting blustery) - and small enough that if someone was early and sitting down, someone who arrived later could just wander through and find the someone arriving early and sitting

mmmmmmmm I'm already looking forward to getting a chocolate milk at Ronnybrook's

Speaks Eternal Optimism. Ok, I'll try Eternal Optimism. Eternal Optimism is probably very uplifting.

Call it cautious optimism, with a touch of experience. Cool

EhBeth--

Just don't leave for the Frying Pan without me.

Who else will be lurking in the Chelsea Market? Let's make this a Group Dither.

From Chelsea Market to the Frying Pan? I don't think so. Less than a mile, by my reckoning.

3 miles is the Mapquest distance for driving.

What address are you using for the Frying Pan? Mapquest gave me very funky results when I tried using "Pier 63" or anything involving "West Side Highway" as the address. But when I used "75 Ninth Avenue" as the starting point, and "West 23rd Street and 11th Avenue" (which isn't exactly where the Frying Pan is, but pretty close) as the end point, Mapquest said the distance is 0.65 miles, which sounds about right.
