I was exhausted when we said farewell.

I'm feeling a bit guilty about that.
Meeting Noddy was marvellous, marvellous, marvellous. An opportunity not to be missed.

Noddy and Cav at Zen Palate (the eggplant there really was excellent). If you're all nice and beg Noddy nicely, she might allow me to post a slightly more identifiable photo)

We're meeting the girl later today for more fun.....maybe the new MOMA maybe something else.....we'll see

and now I'm feeling guilty about this - but you're going to love the pix that resulted, Lola. I took about 150 AFTER taking the Staten Island Ferry with JoeN after we had breakfast and took the subway. Man, that was a heck of a day.

(is it a bad sign that there are 3 fire trucks outside my house right now? Confused )

and you will, you will. We will meet in New York again, and we will take cabs and sit in parks in the sun. (I will scout out benches in advance - Frank can help)

Mrs. Frank brought me a big candle which she had decorated herself. This morning, as I get a better look at it, I realize I didn't look at it closely enough last night..

That candle was fantabulous. I considered trying to steal away with it, but I figgered someone would notice my pink raincoat was flaming. (How did I end up in New York City with a pink tunic, pink t and pink raincoat? everything else in the bag was black - but every photo ... I'm wearing the pink ... sheesh)

ok - was it great or GREAT to meet Louise aka Luise aka Lois aka LoJo and Nancy last night? It was Grrrrrrrrreat! I love all of the Atookiaians, but, man, they have great partners. Both Nancy and LLLL are worth the trip south of the border - both have great, and very clear 'voices' - and LLLL has a to-die-for accent. ( I do NOT say aboot)

For some inexplicable reason, my 'puter will not let me look at pages 88 and 89 of this thread which, I gather, is where the pics are. Do I have a firewall I was unaware of? I'vre tried to get in by several different entrances, all to no avail. The damned thing just freezes up on a grey background.

Well, if SOMEONE had a cell phone on her person, this wouldn't have been a problem.

I just arrived home to Dys and Diane's after wandering around Albuquerque (no, I'm not avoiding marriage this week), zoomed to Fred the Bird's computer study, and saw all these terrific photos.
Looks like a loose and comfy time to me for a bunch of my favorite people.

I don't think I'll actually post them all here. Seems a bit much, doncha think? I'm trying to set up a gallery at ImageShack, and will just put a few teasers in here.

Of course I do, Kicky. I love cities, and New York is a fabulous city. If I had all the time and money in the world, I'd be there. With my camera and my giant memory stick. I hear it's impressive Cool

Osso! Your name came up too! EhBeth told us a story of her visit to your favorite McDonald's in NYC and the hookers' booking agents that she befriended there.
