Bagels, Pizza, Hot Dogs and Race Tracks - New York City?

I'm actually getting anxious myself. It is the omens.

First, yesterday from out of nowhere, a wind blew up from perhaps 2 MPH to 80 MPH in about a single second. It hit like a wall. Our (daughter and myself) only clue something was amiss was a huge roar from a group of trees across the street. Wham! I've truly never experienced anything like it.

Second, we bought a new bathmat and I put it in the tub replacing the older one, turned on the taps and left briefly while tub filled. When I returned, the new bathmat was floating on the surface of the steaming water.

Something this way comes.

ok, I have photos to post.........but I'll have to figure out how.....

why am I not allowed to enter the gallery? Is it just totally shut down?

I don't know how to post these pix without the gallery. I guess I'll just have to wait until everyone is here on Saturday night and we can do it then.

Lola, Cav and ehBeth. As you can see, the wind was up. This is on "theh boat" that Joe Nation and Frank as talking about so frequently. It's a restaurant/bar of sorts. But it's not so well attended on cold windy days in April. I have definite plans to return this Summer. Oh goody, it's going to be Summer.

Joe Nation, Lola, Beth and Frank at a bar with a name like Earl's Place.....I think that's it. Later we went to another New York famous bar/restaurand and had big hambergers, the best potato salad ever eaten and onion rings with kechupppp

Beth and I considered a visit to Filine's Basement, but decided to leave it for another day.

We're meeting the girl later today for more fun.....maybe the new MOMA maybe something else.....we'll see
