It's one of those Rorschach things. You have to trust your associations.

Maybe the 28th would be a better day since you will be getting set up.

A lot depends of the weather. If it ain't a good day...we ain't walkin'.

Has that thing at Lola's on Saturday been confirmed?

errr, I didn't know about any plans at Lola's on Saturday, or if I did I'd forgotten.

I'll probably be doing something with Squeedleboink at some point on Saturday as that's the day l'k may be there, and he'd like to see her as well.

28th and 29th will be perfect for walking. If the 28th is your preference, I'll plan to 'do' the Central Park walk-around on the 29th.

Lola...where the hell are you?

Didn't you suggest a general meet at your place on Saturday? Or has my brain gone out of control again?

Hope you enjoy your trip! I am in NJ, (Central). My favorite place is One 5th, Ave. 5th and 14th Sts. The waiters wear 1930's garb. It's a bar with a limited menu, but the atmosphere is right out of the movies.

Tenny, I'll be staying on 14th St., so I'll be sure to at least wander by One Fifth. I think I've read about it somewhere. <mulling>

There have been a whole bunch of restaurants at that address in recent years. I fondly remember one called Clementine, which lasted about five minutes. For some reason, none of them lasted very long -- at least, until Mario moved in, and reversed the curse.

Oh, and P.S. -- the side street that One Fifth Avenue intersects with is more like 8th Street than 14th Street. I used to work in a building at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 14th Street, and the address was 90 Fifth Avenue, so One Fifth Avenue is a few blocks down (toward Washington Square).

Ooh, let us know how "The Audience" is, Joe. The Times review was kind of dismissive (what else is new?), but the review in the Voice made it sound interesting.

Hmm, Serafina's is where Paola and Diane and I met, the one around the seventies (I gather there are two..), but that was just for lunch.

Nag, I want someone to check out I Trulli. But am also interested in Mario's place.

Damn, I am just going to have to go to NY again.
