The dancing and island are the thing - loved the particular photo I posted.

The photos as a group made me recall what a fun event it was - and my vow that next time I am DANCING!

I just saw a minute blue square, but never mind, I'll check the blog again later. No matter, we can have multiple governor's island enthusiasms..

I'm on page eight of 'Absurdistan' and want to slap him upside the pen. Word dancer, give me a break.

Brendalee will probably need special tutoring in resting and relaxing.

It is NOT one of her strong suits. We worked on it a bit in New York (hard to believe during some of those marches, I know) - and took her on some of our Sunday morning beach adventures last year. We'll work on it again this year - work on relaxing!

Tell her that cramming to do her own bypass surgery is not recommended.

A2K is recommended.

The audio version is available with either Arte Johnson or someone doing a really good imitation of Arte Johnson reading. I listened to it last year while doing circuits of the park.

If you can get through the irritating first part there are only the second, third and fourth irritation parts to finish.

Joe(I just looked it up on Audible.com. It is Arte Johnson)Nation

Gosh, when did I write that?
But what's not to like? Okay it tails off at the finish, but I think the writing's a riot of unusual imaginative quirky bits.
The previous book, The Russian Debutant's Handbook, was maybe better I think.
But both good, highly entertaining to me.
Tell us if you can get thru your irritation, osso.
Smile

If any of you are going to be around this weekend, I recommend going to Coney Island for the annual Mermaid Parade!
