Cleobelle is stressed because The Girl is not here. She's been eating the irises in that back yard.

Had dinner with the canajuns. Furriners. But I mean that in a good way.

Beth is exactly what I expected only more so. Energetic, smart, warm, funny. Her friends were delightful and occasionally managed to get a word in edgewise.

I got some bone-crushing hugs. Thanks to those who sent them. You know who you are.

Seen any pirate movies, lately, Set? As I said to the goil, that boy's a meshugina. But I mean that in a good way. BTW. The Empress and the Madame say hi.

My greetings in return to Her Majesty and Auntie B. Meshugina? Hardly, i'm the embodiment of mensch. As a matter of fact, i watched Pirates 2 last night--inspired by that thread.

Hope you had a good time.

Well, i'd better go wash the dogs now. God knows why, but The Girl said i have to wash the dogs at least once a day while she's gone.

Maybe she said "walk".
Maybe "dogs" is a euphemism.

Set, Had a great time. And mensch and meshugina are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they're a dynamite combination.

Well, I missed a call from Frank today about five minutes before I left work. I got out early and was all excited because I thought I'd be able to go meet up with the visitors and Frank, but when I called Frank back, I got his voice mail, and I don't have anyone else's f---ing phone number! I left a message, but never heard back. I could have gone out! I still could maybe meet up somewhere if any of you see this somehow and call me!

I doubt it's gonna happen now though. Oh well. Life goes on.

I checked the itinerary from a bit back there, for Friday it says:

head toward Frank's recommended Chinese resto - call Kicky to let him know of our destination

Frank didn't tell you where it was, didn't leave a message or anything?

Or, you can just head to a Chinese restaurant -- they only have like one or two in NYC, right?
