The hot as hell thing always scares me - I'm more of a polar bear than a Gila Monster.

I just took a look at the concerts at The Cloisters - nothing posted for June yet - but they've got some great stuff going on there ...
I wrote to Frank Apisa....maybe he will appear.
Thanks McTag.
I discovered that $25/person would get us a 2 day Harbor Taxi pass - that could be an entertaining way to get around the bottom 2/3rd's of the island (as an adjunct to our Metro Cards).

Who? Me? I wanna meet you too, kid.
Roberta--
I'm on record as hoping for June.
Meanwhile, if I get several tedious loose ends tied off here, I may be visiting NYC in March.
Hello Nodders old bean.
I wish there was an American diner near me.
McTag--
There's nothing like cholesterol available 24 hours a day.
Mr. Noddy was in the hospital New Year's Eve weekend, so rather than cook myself a piece of pig for New Year's Dinner (a pork is good luck, because a pig roots forward while other animals graze backwards) , I went down to the diner and had bacon and eggs with a side dish of cole slaw for breakfast.
I'm partial to pubs, myself--but then I frequent pubs only on holidays.
Wafting kitchen fumes your way.
I'm pretty sure cows don't graze backwards because they do unspeakable things with their other ends.
But I'd share some lucky pork with you anytime.
(pancakes, bacon and syrup....lovely)
McTag--
Of course British bacon is superior to the fatty American version.

I'd never considered it. Who wants a skinny pig? And your maple syrup/sirop is to die for....er....very good indeed.
And here I could kill for genuine italian pancetta...
McTag--
This is tree-tapping time. Maple sap is rising.

Very interesting reading around there, on the American approach to food.
I like eating out in the States. And eating in.
Looks like the live music harbor cruises don't start til July 2007.
In the meantime, I'm keeping an eye on

A Circle Line Cruise sounds like fun.
at the very least
they haven't seen anything like "our gang" yet
E is REALLY looking forward to seeing you again, and brendalee is getting more and more curious about 'our Noddy'.
