Thundershowers and a river breeze don't sound particularly delightful.

Perhaps by Thursday the forecast will change--or not.

Weather is weather.

I'll keep on top of it. Twisted Evil

Well, it was another Friday night at the Pan. Sorry we missed Noddy's last visit, beats the hell out of me what happened.

What has happened is someone has been doing a lot of painting and moving the boats around.

The music was bumping but Frank, as always, was cool.

I had to zoom uptown to meet my dish where we spent a couple of hours doing the long New York diner thing first in the small dark room and then out to the garden.

Are you boys (sheesh, mis-typed that as goys) setting into a predictable fri night pattern here? We close shop at seven each night (five on sundays, monday free). We miss the spot though not necessarily you.

Frank and I counted on the weather report which was overly pessimistic.

I attended an Afghan Woman's fundraiser instead.

Yeah...Friday nights seem to be the thing this year.

I didn't contact you guys because I thought it would be intrusive...what with the new business and such.

I will let you know about this Friday...and will call you from town when I get there.

(Nancy and I will be in town Wednesday night for a boat ride. No extra time for meeting with anyone...but I'd appreciate any sun dances you could do for the weather.)

I can't imagine very many circumstances where we'd consider a phone call from you as intrusion.

We did a rain ballet for you. Jane, of course, couldn't bring the level of grace to it as I always can but, on the other hand, we aren't sure if grace is the effective element in god-appeasement.

We will get together...and I promise to lead you into dangerous situations just like the last time. Be ready to dodge taxis.

Gonna be in town later today. I'll call "the usual suspects" when I get there...and if any can join me at the Pan this evening, I'd love to see yez...and promise to be my usual sparkling wit. Tony will more than likely be there to entertain also.

Why didn't you come to the Chicago gathering in May? You would have been greeted as if it was a visit by the Pope!
