I won't know if my cell will work in NY til I get there. The theory is that it will, @ $2/minute. We'll find out in about 5 days.

I'm going to take a hot bath and gloat about my spring flowers.
Then I'll settle down with The Timetable.

How does February sound?
I am dying to go back to NYC, but NOT in February. At this point in time, my blood has turned to water from living in a warm climate, and I would freeze my butt off. I was thinking more in terms of when the buds begin to open on the spring flowers!

Bethie, your itinerary is tiring just to read!
I've got my fingers crossed for perfect weather and little need for that expensive cell phone.

Any chance there is a convenient/possible time/place where i could phone and catch a few of you guys together?
Looks like most are public places, though, and I SOOOOOOOO wouldn't want to interfere with/break the flow of your fun!!!!!!

Noddy - when are you targetting the Guggenheim? I'd like to make sure I don't miss you there.
bunny - Lola/Bernie's seems to be the place to call.
maxisoneinamillion - I soooo don't want to even test that phone - but I'm hoping it will work in an emergency. I've never been in a place less oriented to pay phones than Manhattan.
Cool, sunny weather is my dream for this trip. No schvitzing.

I'm leaving in 12 minutes to drive halfway to the hamburgers - we're meeting for a doggie drop-off.
The trip to New York, in effect, starts as soon as I pull out of the driveway this morning.

Bon Voyage.
If you're beyond computer access, we can always settle Guggenheim Times on Thursday at the Chelsea Market/Frying Pan.

I understand completely. Schvitzing is my all-time least favorite activity.

When is the meet on Friday at the Deli?
What about a time and place for the Russians and the Guggenheim?
Daytime temperatures from Thursday to Sunday will range from the mid-sixties to low seventies.
