i got this idea, i hope some will find it interesting :
since we all live in different places, why dont we take pictures of our neighborhood and send them to eachother via internet (msn or whatever that works) ?
i live in france, and from what i saw, ppl in this website come from everywhere in this planet.
so why not ? we'd take pictures of our friends, family, ppl of the hood ... you know, enough so that other ppl can have an idea of what it looks like.
I don't have a picture handy taken in my immediate neighborhood but this was taken on a beach in Oregon not far from my house:

I like the idea!
As some of you already know... I'm on the northeast coast of Brazil.
This is the view from the 12th floor during the day.
This is the same view, but from the 21st floor and at night.
10 mins away.
20 mins away.
6 hrs away.

superjuly, where do you reside exactly ?
my family, on my mom's side, is from Senhor do Bonfim, in the state of Bahia, and i got some relatives living in Salvador and Belo Horizonte.
ps : the building on the 1st picture looks very familiar, but i guess they all look more or less the same right ?

Thanks! I'm, glad ya'll liked it. I wish other a2k folks would join in and share pics of their surroundings too. Oh, well...
The night time shot was done from the rooftop of the building I live in with a digital camera on auto mode. The view is certainly much better when seen by the naked eye, specially at sunset.
And yes, miguelito. I'm right off the coast. pic #4. :wink:

So Brazil is Le Paradis. Makes sense. That is a great view you have there Superjuly. It looks nice and warm. One day I'll make it there.
