I've got an old photo of my mother's house (she still lives there, and it's still my official secondary residence).
Here's a scan from a coloured postcard from earliest 20th century

Has someone got an idea, what brand of car that could be?

Before you ask me:

- the house was built by my great-uncle in 1904,
- he was a retired navy reserve surgeon, worked then as a family doctor,
- who is who on the pic can mostly only be guessed (I'm sure, however, about the dog),
- the 'funny thing' in the lower third, on the right, is a street lamp

Looks like a mid 'Teens-early 'Twenties Panhard to me.

Grille, bonnet line, cowl, windshield, fender rake, and wheel placement are awful similar. It doesn't look like anything from the Horch/DKW/AutoUnion/Audi family, and it sure doesn't resemble anything from Daimler Benz.
