My Porsche 911 is now 15 years old and the donut spare has never been inflated letalone touched the ground. I am taking the assumption that it is dryrotted or worse but can find zero info about donut spares. can I get just the tyre prelace/ do i need a new wheel/tyre, should I just forget about it and hope for the best?
If there's room for it, get a full size spare.
Peace of mind, dude.
like I said, it's a Porsche 911, there's no room for lady diane's toothbrush.
I thought as much; replace the tire.
And make shore it's got plenty a ahr.
the spare donut in the Posche 911 comes deflated, and the tool kit contains an air compressor. I'm freaking doomed unless I can learn to "don't worry, be happy"
Didn't you already drive across the country in this car? Did you get a flat then? (Am presuming 'no', since you express concern now...)
Unless you are going on a trip farther than across town, just make sure you're up-to-date with your auto club (or other roadside assistance provider).
Q. How many Bush twins does it take to change a flat?
A. Two. One to call the Secret Service and one to mix the drinks.
3. one to write the press release explaning why it was not really flat in the first place, it was a case of silicone adjustment. (WoMd work in mysterious ways)
