CJ, ..have you ever had it fresh cut....from someone that you knew?

We cut our own meat, I'm picky and my poor husband just dreads it sometimes..lol He cuts, I bag. He just works his lil knuckles to the bone..lol

Yes MMS, I've had it fresh from a hunter - that was
in Austria though. My family lives in Germany and there
we eat a lot of venison as well, not as fresh as the one
from the hunter though.

After I've read that venison has twice the protein content
of beef and 2/3 less the calories, I'll try to eat more now
(thank heaven for the german butcher here Mr. Green )

I can do wonders with these odds and ends. If nothing else, make a stock and freeze it for later use.
