Aristotle has said that "humans are political by nature", they are “political animals”. What did he really mean and how did he make a direct link between ethics and politics?

It means man is a social creature with the power of speech and moral reasoning: Hence it is evident that the state is a creation of nature, and that man is by nature a political animal.
