You need a Bug-A-Salt gun. They are like a single-pump BB gun, except instead of shooting a BB, they shoot grains of ordinary table salt like a shotgun.

They are great against the sort of spiders that can run faster than the speed of light. They can also down a flying bug that just refuses to land anywhere.

Get the Lawn And Garden version. It shoots a larger charge of salt and is more lethal to bugs.
