[closed]Getting Logged Out

I keep getting logged out. I will log in, click on "new posts" and it will take me back to the log in page to login again. It just did it when I tried to submit this question. Is this a system issue? Thanks!

Third time it logged me off. This is the third time I am writing this message.

Fourth time it logged me off.

That used to happen to me all the time...and there are threads about this issue somewhere, but I just clicked the "always keep me signed in" or whatever button, and it hasn't happened since!

As long as you're set up to allow A2K to place and use cookies on your machine, that oughtta do it for ya.

I had this problem also, again today. I don't want to use the auto-login feature. My machine is set to accept cookies.

I may as well throw in my 2 cents. It's been happening a lot to me lately too. I don't use auto login because I use different machines, many of which are shared.

It never used to happen with such regularity - maybe Craven's done a tweak?

Just happened here.
I'm on auto log-in/stay logged in.

First it showed me that there were about 5 pages of new posts when I arrived. Then after I'd looked at one thread, it said there were only 4 threads with new posts. When I tried to back up - it showed 74 pages of new posts - but when I tried to look at 1 - it said I had no topics or posts that matched. errrrrrrrrr, o.k.

It did a similar thing last night on my home puter, which I trust a lot more in terms of puter cleanliness.

Happened to me again this AM. Logged in, looked at a thread, and was logged off. Argh.

How do you do that?

I feel being the odd one out. Sad

Now it's happening over, and over, and over. A2K is hardly usable like this.

It does it all the time, I know. It's annoying. It logged me off 4 times while I was posting the help thread about getting logged off.

Honestly, why is happening just with some and others obviously notice nothing at all? (I've been online on A2K since more than 15 hours now without noticing anything [admittingly, I wasn't monitoring the site every minute  ])

that doesn't seem to matter, hingehead. or at least in the case of this particular computer it doesn't seem to matter.

Hmmm. The problem has been driving me nuts (tried to post to this topic three times) but once I turned on auto login - it's been fine). Perhaps your machine is rejecting cookies.

I get logged out only if I'm inactive for a period.
