Well I was on the sunny side of the street today, but we got my daughter's A/C running like an A/C anyway. I got a little over heated.
I've watched that film 1776 a couple of times, letty.

Good morning, WA2K radio audience. eeyor, welcome back to our cyber radio. Only a cowboy could coax a donkey here, methinks.

Seriously, Rog. This is a delightful site, buddy.

Love that song by Dee, edgar, and you are right, buddy, we need those raindrops to keep falling from our eyes or on our heads. Glad that you could help your daughter get her air conditioner working.

We'll dedicate this funny song to our Dutchy, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Chuck. Can't beat him, edgar, and thanks, Texas.

Not certain that I understand the lyrics to this Willie Nelson song, y'all, but I love it.

AT&T keeps shutting me down. The giant corps are NOT the part I like about America. Can't understand how they get by the anti trust laws. Money, I guess.

I consider Train Called City of New Orleans one of the finest songs of its type that was ever written, letty.

First time I heard Dire Straights, I had to check to see if Dylan had formed the group.

Got some Brook Benton this PM. I once had this song by Don Gibson. My lead petty officer in the Navy swiped it from me.

edit-
I see Don is also in the video.

Thanks, dys, for the Willie Nelson Travelin' song. and Turn the Page is perfect timing. My dear friend and cleaning lady, Nancy and I were discussing how hard it is to function when one is continually in the spotlight.

Liked Dire Straits as well.

You know edgar, just more proof that you can't trust "petty" officers. Razz

Thanks for Mr. Benton. Have always loved him, Texas.

Couple of strange things today for your PD. One, is that Rockhead played a song by Paul Simon that was the melody to a Bach beauty, O Sacred Head Now Wounded. Whatever one's belief, I watched the video, and just as I told djjd, Pontius Pilate was just another politican washing his hands of the blood of an innocent man.

This one by Ray, make me cry a bit today.

A combination of Ray and that music can do that to you, letty.

Rick Nelson does this one pretty good.

Oh, my goodness, y'all, we got Germany and England and Texas and I just talked to Phoenix on the telephone. Wonderful!

Urs is right. Pretty woman was unusual for the Boss, but I enjoyed the humor and the song. Yep, some days it pays to be a hooker. Razz

Almost a mini reunion of the Cocoa bunch with Rog on our cyber radio and Gary/mapleleaf writing again. Now where IS the lady Diane.

Thanks, Urs and Iz for the great Julia Roberts memories.

edgar, never heard that one by Ricky, but I liked it.

This may not be the best song to play, but although it's dry and hot, we need to keep our sunny side up.

Going out tonight to eat and watch the fireworks, folks.

Hmmm, the Woosh man hasn't been here in a bit. Bet he's worn to a frazzle.

Miss the squirrel and the moosman as well.

Later, all.
