Wow! Francis. A plant? I certainly did not know that. We're back to Friar Laurence again.

Letty humbly apologizes to Europe and France as an American proxy.

Ashly the tower in Pisa does lean to the left, as you approach it by the tourist route.

Or is it to the right? I've got confused thinking about it.

Is Sardinia considered a part of Old Europe? If so, it will lean toward the left no matter how you approach.

I think c.i.'s picco pipes have hypnotized us.

As much as I'd like to join you...I will be recovering from wedding/honeymoon festivities. But I would like to thank Mr Imposter for his kind invitation:

Quote:
Dear Sir,

As much as I would like to join you for the A2k gathering on may 1st, I fear a provincial girl such as myself is far better suited to the North west of this sceptered isle.

There is nothing cultural or historical I require from the capital. In fact I have only visited London twice in my life; once for an interview at the Canadian embassy and once to visit Hampton Court, the Tudor period being a particular passion of mine.

However, missing the opportunity to frotage with fellow members of A2K will indeed be one of lifes disappointments.

When Blake wrote Jarusalem, he was not referring to london, but to the North West of this green and pleasant land.

Yours truly

Sarah

Aren't the French in Corsica? Corsetted sardinians need cosseting occasionally. But to what porpoise?

Surely you know I am being facetious here.

Looks Greek to me, she said sardonically! (or is that sarcastically - or sardonicastically!)

This has got silly. Maybe it was me that started it, because I am very silly.
Dys, I have got the feeling that you don't actually look like a grizzled '49er prospector Gabby Hayes lookalike.
But if you do, you'll fit in real well.

The ferry, the car or the booking? Surprised

(Route plan follows on demand.)

Booked my car on a ferry. And me, with it.
I'll be going to Fontainebleau for a few daze before tipping up in Hinter-den-Linden or wherever, so route map won't really be necessary except for the last little bit, finding the Hotel Jonathan! Thanks, Walt.

(What was all that about sardines?)

Visited Fontainebleau last year, hope, you get one of the nicer rooms (you'll reside in the castle, isn't it?)

We could have lunch/a meal in London at the Sardo.
