Hello Husk,
I read the comments re your health...The doctors removed the plastic tubes from my chest...well...actually the nurse. So I have more freedom to move about...work in the yard and even a trip to Maryland...thanks to airplanes.

Interesting, before January, I was doing what I wanted to do at the time I chose...different life now...like a change in culture...major, major modifications in life style...new challenges...some successes...a step at-a-time.

Maple
step at-a-time is what it's all about and getting what you can of each day (savor the moment).
Glad you are doing better. Right now the swelling on my leg is going up and down like a toilet.
I'm starting to taste meds in my mouth all the time - I hate that taste of antibiotics, cannot wash it out for for than a minute at a time.

Husk,

I went through that last year; it took me three months to regain my taste...weird feeling...the foods I normally liked, just weren't the same.

I have to laugh at some of the things that happened. I actually became skilled at rocking (rock up to my shoulders, twist and then pivot onto bed...it hurt to slide in. I am a shy fellow, especially when naked. One day the bath lady was scrubbing me and then some people came in. She kept on working while they were in a regular conversation with her...and me standing there!

I'm glad you're feeling better, Husker but I'm sorry it's such a roller-coaster ride. Hang tough, you'll beat this thing yet.

Pay attention to them, and let your doc and dentist know if there are any changes to colour or density.

Man I just hate going to the Doctor
Good News \ Bad News
Good news is my leg is looking good
Bad news is that it's not good enough to return to the office.
The doc does want me to starting walking though, like start with a couple hundred yards see how that goes for a couple days, watch swelling and elevate - stay on the antibiotics.

I just really hate the emotional roller coaster is get on - right now seems like a low point even though things are pretty good. F___ I don't what to thing................ Crying or Very sad

medication side effects..?

screw that idea.
This is stressful! Completely !
It has been a LONG time since you were able to resume your life. You have been stuck in a chair, at home 90% of the time for MONTHS.
Crying?
you are entitled to that dear.
Completely.

what is it that has you down?
Is there something specific?
Please dont tell me you are feeling like it is a personal thing you arent healed properly. That has nothing to do with YOU.
