hello.
Hello.
Kirby. There's no one here by that name.
Well, okay, greetings from New York City anyway.
Joe(missed him by this much)Nation
That happens to me all the time, Joe.
He'll get a kick out of it when he checks in here again, I'm sure!
LOL
that's funny- it must have been the people that went to the hospital to visit me ( they did mention the phone was ringing like crazy) but no husker to be found. So they called my house and happened to catch me moving from the restroon to the bedroom - how come you never told anyone you we're getting out!! LOL I said You'd better join A2K so I can get out the biggest broadcast or news alerts out.
And truth is when I got the Doctor to say it was ok to head for the house - things went in full gear- first call was home to thr MRS to get down here as totally ASAP as possbile. The they came to my room to start reading the release order part of that was I have to call in if my temp went above 100 (well for a few of you you can rerad between the lines on that I was thinking) just get the heck out of there.
So I been cat-napping since I got home - my sleep cycle is so screwed
up , I actually feel best sleeping like that for now.
I drove out to my office to pick-up the laptop and almost everyones jaws hit the ground in shock. then remember I never wear slacks or pants (always shorts). ahh husker why are here? man your leg is read - I said heck it actually almost looks real good - if we can just get the fluid off now, it's gunna be alright. Will be back into the Doc on Thursday for post hospital visit.
and OMG I thought I was talking a lot of meds before Just adding these new anti-biotics = 26 more pills per 24 hours.
And we talked about taking something daily once this period is over (my doc talked to the infection docs I had in July, November, and March.
Seriously you guys don't know how much it means to hear from you. You know it's really cool knowing a group of folks that care for ya, some are praying, some thinking good things and mostly the common caring, hearing a new and friendly voice on the phone brings added joy.
oh I forgot to mention my room has already been refilled by someone -
It scares me when you go into the hospital, Husker. I wish you'd just leave that place completely alone!
Be well! That's my biggest hope for you.
I like the idea of you continuing to take something after this crisis is past. Sounds like whatever's in your system causing this hasn't completely gone away.
What were you thinking, going to the office?!?!?!
You should have sent your wife for the laptop instead. Now they'll expect you to be working! Silly, silly man.
Eva
I need to work - no sick leave or vacation, and I hate borrowing vacation from the future and I'm fit for what I need to do. I don't actually need the laptop but it make them feel goof knowing I have it - LOL. Well now if I get a wifi card if might come in handy say on the deck!!
Have been awake for 30 minutes (showered, meds, and email) time for a nap.
A nap doesn't sound too bad. When your body says it is tired, be good to yourself and sleep!
How you doin' today, Big Guy?
doing great went into the doc for a checkup and said keep that sucker skyhigh - it looks pretty good.
Good to hear that!
Now, follow orders, okay?
Husker, good to know you are feeling well !!
Checking in on the Big Guy....
How you doin', Husker?
We're doing pretty good the swelling is going down real nice, I'm sleeping less - must be kind of a good thing. THe skin color is starting to restore (I'm like now taking a total of 24 or so pills a day).
I made a 2 hour social outing lastnight and it felt pretty good - but I had my leg elevated there.
I was invited to to 2 places: Argentina and India
