My son-in-law thinks he's a gourmet cook and two years running we brought it down to mediocre by hauling over a twenty pound turkey and some yams. All in all a satisfying holiday. I'm freezing the bulk of the turkey meat for odd meals in future weeks.

I was glad to read that you and your family were able to enjoy Thanksgiving and that your doctor is pleased with your progress. When my dad had an infection like yours in his arm, it took took about 4-6 months before it was gone and he needed to have the nurse come in every day to change the tubing, etc., but it was worth going through all the hassle to keep his arm. You're a lot younger than he was and you've got a great support system here and a lot of fight in you, so I know you'll do fine and beat this thing.

Remember, we're all here for you no matter what kind of a day you're having...You can't get rid of us! Laughing

That's because you are.

Sixteen, seventeen years from now, the memory of all this will seem like a dream.

Be well today.

peace.

Colorbook is right. When you are feeling lousy, you really don't want to do anything. As you heal, you begin having interest in more than being comfortable in bed.

It's a good sign, husker. Keep it up! Very Happy

I have been very busy these days and haven't been around much lately, so I was also unaware that you were ill Husk.

You take care of yourself and get well soon.
