just the feeling of waiting and time
just started listening to Tom Petty "I won;t back down"
( ill be right back.....)
;-)
never mind that idea.
I was going to put on AIM but to download it to this computer it will take 1:45 !!
If you have yahoo husker, you can IM me if you need someone to chat with. :-)
I was gone for a few days. You doin' any better, Big Guy?
This has been a long process. You're entitled to feel down about it sometimes. It's only natural. And Tom Petty can be very good medicine.
(((HUGS)))
Keep on getting better, Husker.
Yesterday and today I'm feeling pretty good! I acted as a substitute Preacher last night and gave a message about Fathers day - I think it turned out ok and today I escaped the house for a couple hours and the family took me to StarWars (I liked it) and then after an hour or two of rest I went for a short walk, about 200-300 yards total round-trip. I'm tired, but feeling good.
Glad to hear it!
I hope your clan treated you like a king for Fathers Day. You deserve it.
Aw, Husker, sorry about the roller coaster, the drugs, the swelling - all of it. Just keep doing what your Doc tells you to do and don't forget to tell him a thing or two back.
I'm toying with setting up the laptop in the backyard for Monday and Tuesday (sort of a outdoor office) not sure what direct sunlight is going to do with seeing the screen, just have to rig a leg elevation contraption.
that may do you a world of good. Direct sunlight helps get the seratonin in the brain going. it will make you feel better.. .. you need that. :-)
My temporary office weather permitting - still in the shade
have to change the direction the sun is going to cause trouble
had to move indoors until I figure out how to deal with the sun and it was also getting a little hot with direct sun and the laptop and keyboard being black.
Nice! I bet that felt good while it lasted!
The meds are screwing with my gut this morning - pain!! just 2 more days of anti-biotics and I'm done with this for this round.
Husker - eat yogurt between doses.
