What to do? What to do?

We have insurgents. What can we do with them?

Hmmmmmmm

No. We are civil. Or so we think.

At the moment we seem to be killing as many of them as possible.

Unfortunately, for every one we kill, many more join the cause.

Even more unfortunately, a lot of noncombatants seem to get in the way, especially in cities such as Falluja.

You know what? This could have been predicted. In fact, it WAS predicted.

Did anyone hear the news reports about US soldiers finding houses with beds and food laid out for the troops along with thank you notes? It appears that many in Falluja were thankful for the US involvement to give the city back to the people. I will find the stories on this so that you all can see what is really going on there.

Careful - we wouldn't want to let facts about good news get in the way of ideology and pre-conceived notions.

baldi, how are ya? yep, i'd like to see those stories. i don't doubt that many iraqis are happy that the u.s. stepped in. unfortunately, i also think, and hear from an iraqi friend who's in touch with family in baghdad, that they would also be quite happy for the u.s. to step out as well. our friend's family supports the u.s., but not all do.
