Not sure, but obviously around 30F there. That's the temp when you get the most snow.
Here in San Jose it was about 50, but the wind was blowing hard, so it also felt about 30. Too cold for us thin skinned Californians.

Cold enough.
Definitely weather where you want to make sure you've got an extra sweater, hat and mittens in the car - just in case.

Yeah, same here in southern California. We sissies
are half frozen today.
I live right at the beach and there it seems a bit warmer,
however ca. 30 miles inland, they had snow
If the weather pattern continues like this, we'll have
to move to Hawaii.

A friend sent me photos from Palm Desert this a.m. They weren't as snowy as the ones from Mojave that you posted, cjhsa, but were startling enough for the sender.
