I know this has been discussed and debated many times. however, I am looking for people's views on whether celebrities who get involved in politics actually do influence young voters in particular (age 18-30). I'm talking about the celebrity-laden campaigns like rock the vote, vote or die, choose or lose, smackdown your vote, etc. Is there anyone out there who was remotely driven to get out and vote because of campaigns like these all over TV and the Internet? I would like to hear from people who may have been influenced by the celebrity activity. Don't be ashamed, this isn't a cynical joke. I'm doing this as research.
