So, let me get this straight. You post a thread here on these forums for people to read, but the moment they ask you questions regarding your belief and the nature of these posts that you can't answer and show that you have some rather inconsistent beliefs, you call it harrassment.

I should have been more specific, Wolf_ODonnel- I apologize.

I was having reference to persecution in LIFE... really. Not just here... Mostly folks have been free with commentary without being personally antagonistic in this topic.
I don't know what you mean by 'inconsistent'. I believe in Salvation by Jesus Christ, according to "He that believes shall be saved"

What i really want to do is SHARE my faith, not 'argue' it.
2 Timothy 2:23, 24

"...foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient.

Which doesn't really happen to Christians in the Western world.

Giving account of ourselves to God
From Hebrews 4

The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.
13There is nothing that can be hid from God; everything in all creation is exposed and lies open before his eyes. And it is to him that we must all give an account of ourselves.

Without pride or arrogance, I am only as He Wills.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean livin''
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean up my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain..
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just another sinner Who received God's grace by faith-NOW

@A-glow,
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
21It is God himself who makes us, together with you, sure of our life in union with Christ; it is God himself who has set us apart, 22who has placed his mark of ownership upon us, and who has given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the guarantee of all that he has in store for us.

@A-glow,
"Surely there is a mine for silver,
and a place for gold that they refine.
Iron is taken out of the earth,
and copper is smelted from the ore.
Man puts an end to darkness
and searches out to the farthest limit
the ore in gloom and deep darkness.
He opens shafts in a valley away from where anyone lives;
they are forgotten by travelers;
they hang in the air, far away from mankind; they swing to and fro.
As for the earth, out of it comes bread,
but underneath it is turned up as by fire.
Its stones are the place of sapphires,[a]
and it has dust of gold.
"That path no bird of prey knows,
and the falcon’s eye has not seen it.
The proud beasts have not trodden it;
the lion has not passed over it.
"Man puts his hand to the flinty rock
and overturns mountains by the roots.
He cuts out channels in the rocks,
and his eye sees every precious thing.
He dams up the streams so that they do not trickle,
and the thing that is hidden he brings out to light.

"But where shall wisdom be found?
And where is the place of understanding?
Man does not know its worth,
and it is not found in the land of the living.

The deep says, 'It is not in me,'
and the sea says, 'It is not with me.'
It cannot be bought for gold,
and silver cannot be weighed as its price.
It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir,
in precious onyx or sapphire.
Gold and glass cannot equal it,
nor can it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.
No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal;
the price of wisdom is above pearls.
The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it,
nor can it be valued in pure gold.

"From where, then, does wisdom come?
And where is the place of understanding?
It is hidden from the eyes of all living
and concealed from the birds of the air.
Abaddon and Death say,
'We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.'

"God understands the way to it,
and he knows its place.
For he looks to the ends of the earth
and sees everything under the heavens.
When he gave to the wind its weight
and apportioned the waters by measure,
when he made a decree for the rain
and a way for the lightning of the thunder,
then he saw it and declared it;
he established it, and searched it out.

And he said to man,'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,
and to turn away from evil is understanding.'"

Humbly asking for solitude and service:

I mourn and wear clothes made of sackcloth,
and I sit here in the dust defeated.
I have cried until my face is red,
and my eyes are swollen and circled with shadows,
but I am not guilty of any violence,
and my prayer to God is sincere.

O Earth, don't hide the wrongs done to me!
Don't let my call for justice be silenced!
There is someone in heaven
to stand up for me and take my side.
My friends scorn me;
my eyes pour out tears to God.
I want someone to plead with God for me,
as one pleads for a friend.
My years are passing now,
and I walk the road of no return.

@Aglowing,

Psalm 52
Why do you boast, great one, of your evil?
God's faithfulness is eternal.
2 You make plans to ruin others;
your tongue is like a sharp razor.
You are always inventing lies.
3 You love evil more than good
and falsehood more than truth.
4 You love to hurt people with your words, you liar!

5 So God will ruin you forever;
he will take hold of you and snatch you from your home;
he will remove you from the world of the living.
6 Righteous people will see this and be afraid;
then they will laugh at you and say,
7 "Look, here is someone who did not depend on God for safety,
but trusted instead in great wealth
and looked for security in being wicked."

8 But I am like an olive tree growing in the house of God;
I trust in his constant love forever and ever.
9 I will always thank you, God, for what you have done;
in the presence of your people
I will proclaim that you are good.

@Aglowing,
"Don't you know that to be the world's friend means to be God's enemy? If you want to be the world's friend, you make yourself God's enemy".

so we should just allow the only world we know to perish, let climate change destroy the world and humanity!

its this kind of belief in the other-worldly that completely undermines the significance and importance of the world. its beliefs such as this that motivate suicide bombers.

if there's one thing I do agree with about that sentence, it is that God is the enemy of the world.

@existential potential,
It has been a long time since i came here to read, e---p---, but I want to tell you,
You are confusing the 'world' with the 'earth'. When the Word of God speaks of the WORLD, He is speaking of the 'realm where principalities and powers ' of evil and darkness are trying to take dominion over a person's THINKING, over their decisions and cause them to TRUST in the power of this realm .... to the detriment of their soul.

That realm seeks to have you trust in your own intelligence, your own analyses, and to worship the FEATS and GREATNESS of ordinary man. Men, who "die" according to the Word that declares, "It is appointed unto man once to die, and after this:, the judgment...." They can do NOTHING for your immortal soul.

Our Father did not leave HIS Creation wandering in 'lack of wisdom' and nowhere to turn... LOST....
He send His SON, who made the Ultimate Sacrifice to save us all. Turning to HIM and seeking HIS Salvation is a WONDERFUL peace, and He helps, as the nettling powers of this 'air' continue to try to 'devour' everyone they can.

I am one who has Accepted His Salvation, and to be BORN AGAIN. And among myself and my brothers and sisters in Christ, we DO what the secular world calls 'green' things. We do these things because we RESPECT what the Lord gave to us on earth.

@Aglowing,

WHY DO U CARE?
IF NO CRIME EXISTS AND NO PAST, NO FUTURE OF FEAR, WHY DO U CARE?
IT IS A SENSELESS THING U DO, ALWAYS PURSUING THE SAME HATEFUL DAY, SMELLY WITH DUNG.
WHEN THE TIME HAS ARRIVED FOR U TO BE CUT OFF AND TURNED TO SPIRIT
AND THE FOREVER OF SUFFERING BEGINS
IT WILL BE TOO LATE TO CRY AS U WILL CRY, TO CURSE AS U WILL CURSE
WITH NO ONE HEARING. ONLY THE DEMONS WHO WERE CUT OFF FROM THE BEGINNING FOR FOLLOWING LUCIFER OUT OF THE GLORY OF THEIR FIRST ESTATE

WILL HEAR YOUR INDIGNANT RESENTMENT THAT GOD TOLD YOU TO REPENT AND YOU REFUSED.
"NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME, BEHOLD NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION"
I WILL YET PRAY, DESPITE THE CONSTANT HARM AND CRIMINAL ASSAULT I SUFFER;
I STILL PRAY YOU WILL TURN FROM YOUR SIN AND REPENT.
