To all those who voted to maintain the Status Quo...
NOTE:
Powell (Sec'y of State) resigned... at Bush's behest.
Att'y Gen'l Ashcroft has bailed.
Ditto:
Donald Evans of Commerce,
Ann Veneman of Agriculture,
Spencer Abraham of Energy,
as well as Rod Paige of Education.
That Status Quo you voted for is GONE.
You've all been swindled, given the ol' Bait'n'Switch.
Now shut the hell up and continue goosestepping... the Reichstag's in ashes and America has a surfeit of spilt milk... the sour odor permeating the nation will only get worse.
Once Bechtel gets the Camps up and running, we'll see what America REALLY bought... it will take generationss to amortize the debts incurred.
(If you'll pardon me, I feel it expedient to empty my emesis pan... "Be prepared".)
Well, I'm not happy either. Only I'm not sure the loss of Ashcroft represents a step toward fascism. If anything, his departure is a plus for American democracy!

That's definitely true! Although, the others on that list were regarded by many as some of the more moderate voices among the Cabinet. We'll see how this plays out, I guess...

Wait'll you see his successor!
I know what you mean, Duck. The man who made it OK for US military men and women to torture POWs. A real visionary for our time!
I dislike "image posts" but..
It was inevitable but is the worst news I have seen this month.
Very fitting picture, Craven.
