Imagine if every man was fitted with a small device on his balls which delivered an electric shock (but causes no damage) which could be controlled with a small pocket sized device. The intensity could be varied from
A) Light tap (makes him jump)
B) Moderately painful slap (makes him double up, he will feel some discomfort for about 30min)
C) Kick (Makes him fall down. He will be down for about 10min and feel pain for a few hours)
D) Hard kick. (He will be down in agony for a few hours and feel pain for the rest of the day)
E) Golf club hit. (He will be down in extreme pain for the day and feel pain for a week)

Which intensity would you choose in the following circumstances and how many times would you press the button. Remember no actual damage and you don't have to press anything. (It´s an fun Question for all who thinking im meaning this for real)

1. You demonstrate the device on your bf to one of your girl friends.
2. A girl friend gives you the controls for her bfs device and aks you to try it out.
3. You catch your bf looking at another pretty girl.
4. Your bf refuses to clean up the house.
5. Your bf is showing off in front of his friends.
6. Your bf is showing off in front of your friends.
7. You are arguing with your bf.
8. Your bf cheats on you.
9. You some how get hold of the control of your bf's best friend.
10. You are argueing with one of your female rivals (pretty) and your bf does not back you up.
11. Your brother has just had his device installed and your mother put the control on the livingroom table while you are watching tv.
12. yor bf forgets an important date like your birthday or aniversary.
13. You ask him if you look fat.. and he hesitates before replying.
14. You find out he has been looking at porn sites online.
15. You find a remote on the bus but don't know whose it is.

I would dismantle the device and I would sue the manufacturers, seeing as it's a device which, when properly used, is a means of committing civil and/or criminal battery on another person and nothing else. Spoiler Alert: I would most likely win.

And I wouldn't use one, ever, because these are people, not lab rats, and I like to think I'm not an asshole to other people.

What I really don't understand is why people who are so prudish choose to come to an S&M thread. If it disgusts you, you could just stay away.

This thread isn't an "S&M" thread, at least not obviously so. The original post seems to be a childish imagining rather like one common in the 1950s in America and Britain - schoolkids used to ask each other "If you pressed a button and someone died in China, would you press that button?". It doesn't seem to be about consensual pleasure, but rather about inflicting pain on unexpecting others as punishment for slights, or just for fun. But maybe you weren't thinking of this present thread?

The other part of the comment was, in my mind, addressed to the fact you even thought it was about sex or S&M. I was playing off that weirdness. Actually, making fun of you.

My thoughts were about the same as Jespahs, that this was something illegal, that it would be considered battery, and that whoever invented such a thing would be sued, and would lose.

Until you said something else, that's as far as my thoughts went. After reading your thoughts, I haven't gone back there.

The fact that it was addressed as hurting someone in such a vulnerable, sensitive area, just made it that much more perverse.

I don't care if you think it's about S&M, that's your business. I don't see anyone else sharing that feeling, so you seem determined to tell others you know what they "really" think, and why we won't admit it.
