Yeah, here, if you live in Manhattan, it's actually better NOT to have a car. Parking sucks, it costs a fortune...I guess if you're rich, it might be worth it, but just finding a place to park can take longer than getting to the place you are going to!
if I gave up my off-street spot I could rent it out to someone for some where around $150 per month.
Ah, so you have the same problems there then.
Yep, in Boston spots can go for way more $.
"The escalating cost of parking, long a premium in Boston, hit home for many when it was learned that a 180-square-foot parking spot sold last month for $160,000 at the Brimmer Street Garage in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. from cnn.com"
it's a heated garage with valet service.
My son lived in Hoboken for a number of years. It was so easy to get there from Manhattan.....take the PATH train from 33rd st. The parking there can be very obnoxious, as the streets, other than the main drag, are very narrow, and crowded.
Yeah, but to get to the path train, I have to take the 6 train to 59th, then transfer to the N or the R, then take one of those down to the 33rd Street stop. Hoboken is pretty nice though.

I don't think we do nearly enough skinny-dipping. Or maybe we don't talk about it.

That reminds me, Paula: if you were on my thread, how long do you think we could make...nevermind.
What exactly would Slappy mean by "thread?"
I SWEAR, it does not resemble a thread.
More like a baby mushroom. But I like hugs.
