How Long Can You Make My Thread Get?

Reply Sat 13 Nov, 2004 11:09 am
Okay, everybody, time for a contest. Guess how many pages this thread goes before it becomes old news and dies off. Once it goes one full day without a post, it will be considered dead, for purposes of this contest, and the winner(s) will receive a big wet sloppy make-out session with the A2Ker of your choice. If I win, I'm going to pick littlek!

I'm going to guess 9 pages. What's your guess?

I'm going for ten. It sounds perfect. But, then again I wouldn't mind 9 just so we could see the makeout session.

It's not how long you make it, but how you make it long.

I'm hoping for mercy and say 5 pages.

I'm betting on a sudden flurry of posts as they tend to erupt here now and then and take this thing up to 14.

No no much more than that. 69. That seems a good, Kicky-ish number.

Kicky, I think you need to have a rule that nobody can post twice in a row. Otherwise the person who guesses the longest number will win -- that person can just keep posting, and posting, and posting and... until it gets to the right number.

Wow, 69 is a good number.

I thought of that double-posting thing, Soz, but I figured that if somebody is that competitive about a silly thread like this, I'll come in at the end and send it to another page just to ruin it for them.

But just for the hell of it, okay, let's make that a rule. No posting twice in a row!

Oh, good point about ruining it. Hmm. That could be fun.

Thank you both. You have made my thread grow just by being here.

I am going to guess that this thread will grow and grow and grow. It will become like a runaway freight train or an avalanche -- once the momentum gets rolling, there will be no stopping it.

That being said, put me down for infinity.

Wow, you are going to have to wait a long time to be declared the winner then.

If it does get that long, who will you, as the winner, pick to have your make-out session with?

When are you going to start referring to it as a "rope" rather than a thread?

Okay, Kicky's really pushing us to give up our "make-out dream partner" so I could go with Bear (of course) and be one of the few able to actually have that session win or lose.

But, to make it more of challenge I'd have to say that there really is something I find Super HOT about clowns.

We got any clowns around here?
