I remember one time i was skinnydipping in this granite quarry. The water was cool and refreshing. I swam for about 34 minutes and headed to shore.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered a rather buxom woman stuck between a few boulders.

"What happened lady?" I asked.

"I'm stuck between these boulders. I'm naked and hurting. Please help me."

I moved toward her and said, "Lady. This aint your lucky day."

Hey, kicky, friends of mine are playing in Brooklyn with J Mascis next week (maybe friday). You should go see them (bring ear plugs).

What kind of music? And where?

By the way, ladies, my thread is now 19 pages long. I bet you've not been with too many guys with threads that long, eh?

kickycan-Oooh.....don't even say that. How would you like us "ladies of a certain age" to have coronaries, simply thinking about the possibilities!!! Laughing

I dunno what kind of music, unfortunately. J Mascis was part of Dinosaur Jr. Loud, pot ladden music. Schools is the bass player for Widespread Panic. Kyle is a drummer boy extraordinaire. My pal Kevin is running the sound.

Hoboken. That's a pain to get to also. You have to realize I'm lazy, and if I have to take more than one train to get somewhere, it usually doesn't happen. Smile But I know some people who live in Williamsburg, so I'm considering it.

It is a weird mental thing with me. Even though queens is actually closer to me than downtown, you have to leave the burrough of manhattan to get there. So in my head, whenever I go there, I'm always thinking, damn this is so far away!

You have a car, don't you? Boston people don't use the subways all the time, like in New York, do they?

I do have a car, but whether I drive it depends on where I'm going. I'd never drive to downtown Boston, but I might drive to the north end. I do drive to south Boston, but I think that's silly at this point. I think we prolly drive more than the average NYer. But, I know lots of people without cars.
