You'd be proud of me, Olga. Somebody drew a christmas tree on the dry erase board in the conference room with a cheery "Happy Holidays!" I wrote "Bah-Humbug" under it in tiny letters.

Olga, I couldn't stop laughing...
Just got in from my Christmas shopping...4 hours total including a sit-down mug of Guiness and pot stickers.
Of course I did the navigation charts first so it was an orderly trip...but still. Scrooge is done for the year.

Well, that's Christmas over for another year! I'm relieved. Very Happy
Did the family visit, did Christmas lunch .... it all proceeded without too much angst & teeth gnashing & for that I'm grateful.
The presence of ghosts from previous Christmases can make one terribly melancholy, though ..... <sigh>

I'm glad you made it, Olga. I still have most of the day. the boys are still asleep. My mom and MIL are coming for brunch in a couple of hours. At about 2 PM my time, I plan to crash.
