And finally:

Hopefully, some of you who follow my comments and videos will notice the disconnect between these 3 last videos with my own beliefs...it is central to the point to understand why believing in Free Will is detrimental to a fully Logical explanation of Reality. What fails in the whole series is a deep understanding of why the ground of all Being cannot be free at all. And this is why minds are no more no less than mere computing machines troubleshooting the complexity of a greater Reality...

@Fil Albuquerque,
Post Scriptum - These 3 videos have a target...one that often accused me of being an 18th century theist...shove it up your azz Fresco!

@Leadfoot,
Its interesting when they get to approach the "best" theologian alive...the guy was smart enough to understand exactly that which is my point...if you want a personal god, a mind, give up omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence...

@Leadfoot,
The guy I was referring to Jurgen Moltman can be found in the second episode at 37 minutes onward.

Never cared about that stuff anyway, had nothing to do with why I fell in love with him.

@Leadfoot,
Well, I am "in love" for the old one, the actual thing, the ground of all Being!
I very much appreciate the Universe I live in!

Regarding demigods we are about to build an AGI anyway, maybe you live long enough to see it and ask him questions...it will be much better than Alexa!

You're closer to Spinoza in my opinion.

@Olivier5,
Won't deny that, but so was Einstein! Yes, I like Spinoza very much!

PS - Anyway the point was Fresco is closer to Christianity than I ever will be...

@Fil Albuquerque,
What do you see as the main problem with Christianity?
It is admittedly a hard sell, it asks you to give up the life you have for one you have never seen.
And all those damn riddles, who has the time to figure them out.

@Leadfoot,
My problem with Christianity it's quite small, nothing against believers, no shamming like in the US, no bashing, and fine with its main tenant, do good!
It's the Ontology of the Christian God that I have a contention with...not because I am a contrarian but because I want to understand what the ground of all being could or could not be. As you know regarding Theology, and most theologians state this much, it's much easier to get what "god" cannot be, than to get to what it actually is. I've been working for quite a while on that issue. What it cannot be!

That’s the same reason I don’t have an organized religion. Why take the word of those who admit they don’t know.

How funny, I’ve been working on just the opposite!
