The last thing that should be done is to forcibly deny a people their religion. In that direction lies holocaust and generations of vengeful hatred in the surviving progeny.

Islam needs the renaissance it never had. It needs to be re-defined in terms which are acceptable to civilised and decent people everywhere, of whatever religion and cultural background.
Remarkably liberal sentiments there Herberts, are you not feeling well? Laughing

Years and years of this Islamic demagogue preaching his vile hatred upon the streets of London... and yet...
Quote:
'They interviewed him at least twice... '

All of TWO times?! Wow. How very thoughtful of them. How very dutiful.

Thank you Steve for confirming what we already know: Britain's political administration and its top echelons of Homeland Security and metropolitan police force have long-since been hijacked by limp-wristed liberal-elites who are only too happy to jeopardise national security if it means not having to arouse ethnic minority resentments against the Establishment.

Quote:
It was only after his ravings inspired the London Tube bombings that someone at MI5 decided Hamza was no longer any use.

Let me paraphrase that as it should be:
Quote:
It was only after his ravings inspired the London Tube bombings that the political-elite were able to summon up the balls to face UK-Muslim paranoia for him being arrested as a public menace to the security of the nation.

It took the sissies of Britain's political administration the loss of 52-innocent lives to supply them with enough testicle to go arrest this UK-based bin Laden-loving Muslim. Prior to the bombing the girls who run Britain were too much afraid of a backlash from Britain's Muslim community for daring to arrest one of their own.
This shows you dont understand the relationship that British intelligence and special forces had with Islamic extremists. We fired them up and pointed them at the Russians. We had them over here and taught them guerrilla warfare. (you dont believe this?) We thought we knew how to control them, but we opened pandoras box of religious terrorists, and now they are biting off the hand that originally fed them. [When I said we, I of course meant USUK, there has been no policy difference between the two countries in matters such as this for many decades]

Correct. But it's not true to say that the Middle East's militant Islamists and insurgents are a product of US - British military policy of a decade ago in the fight against the Russians.

Osama bin Laden and his various lieutenents are an Islamic extremist phenomenon entirely independent of anything previously to do with Britain's having trained members of the mujahideen (some of whom I have known personally).

It's Big Bertha I'm worried about. She'll probably turn out to be a 250-kilo mud-wrestler from southern Baden-Württemberg where they pump Stuttgart beer into their hogs to fatten them up for the dinner table.

Cool

That number you saw there was nine. Not twelve, thirteen, fourteen or anything like that, but nine. Anybody who does that is a pedophile, period.

gunghosnake... I entirely agree it's paedophilia, no doubt about it. But it still remains that different cultures from ancient times to our modern day view certain sexual practices with a greater or lesser degree of tolerance.

Take Australian aboriginal society for instance. It is common practice for the elders of Outback tribal communities to disport themselves with girls of very young age. It's only the white community who frown upon this practice as being 'immoral' and 'unacceptable'.

Heard of 'Greek sex'... ? There again we have a certain sexual practice which is common to a specific ethnic group but which is viewed with something akin to distain and revulsion in those from other cultural backgrounds.

homosexuality - there's another example. It's common practice in certain parts of China (including Hong Kong where I lived for 5 years) - for young heterosexual men to take on a male partner to service sexual needs until they have married a young woman and settled into marital bliss. There is no more common sight in China than seeing young heterosexual men holding hands in public.

Walter has just posted through to my email inbox a snap of Big Bertha who he hopes will be my upcoming date at the seedy hotel he often frequents with the lovely Sigfrieda... http://www.kenzy.com/smilies/gorgeous.gif

I've got to admit I'm worried - very worried at the prospect of this imminent romantic encounter with the formidable Big Bertha. Small beads of persperation have begun to break out upon my troubled brow each time my thoughts have turned to Big Bertha.

But she's sorta cute in her own way isn't she... ? We're going to need a trampoline not a bed up there in that seedy hotel room.

I might have led a very quiet and sheltered life, but this needs more explanation. Specifically what is Greek sex?
