Actually, Vegas.....my husband and I thought it would be fun to honeymoon there. I mean, we wanted to have fun, go somewhere exciting, not sit around and bake in the sun on some beach. So off to Vegas we go...and it was both fun and romantic (back at the hotel room.... Shocked Very Happy )

If you're going to go to Niagara Falls, at least go to the Canadian side. The falls are more spectacular on that side.

I'd go to Assateague Island in Virginia if I was given my druthers.

So Texas is lucky 13.

Is Huntsville, Texas a good place for a honeymoon?

It's supposed to have terrific early mornin' shows.

Ok, so I'm just a wee bit partial here. I already live in #4 (California) and more specifically #10 (California Wine Country) and I think I'm about as close to romantic heaven as one could get as far as being in a physical locale. It can be very low key though, mellow and soooo relaxing. For those wanting a faster pace and big city memories, San Francisco is less than an hours drive away and it is the one city that to this very day, still takes my breath away every time I head south and cross over the Golden Gate Bridge and see the skyline, the Bay, Alcatraz Island, the sailboats amidst the big ships. Think about it....a day or two taking in the beauty of San Francisco and all it has to offer and then retiring to the vineyards just north for a mineral bath or mud bath, a massage, some of the greatest wines on the face of the planet, a picnic in the redwoods perhaps, a stroll on the beach one day, hot tubbing before climbing into bed in one of the coziest, most pampering bed and breakfasts around....

hehehe...I can do this without there even being on any honeymoon. I think I am very spoiled and for that I am very grateful! Smile
