I would like to see the best pictures anyone can make on the paint program for your computer. I know you've all probably goofed around with it every now and then. Well here's your chance to show it off. Show your Paint work.

i just tried to make this, sort of using some techniques stuh used, its of my cell phone. i find that these pictures are much easier to make when you start with a smaller square

sorry mine is so small - I must have uploaded a very small version - the 3 kings - did you used to wonder, as I did as a child, why 'Orientar' had 3 kings?'

They always look better smaller anyway Smile

Vivien it looks like you drew the sketch last! That must have been tough. I like it though. It's good to see you all thinking out of the box

I didn't have enough control to do the "sketching" last... Rolling Eyes

Nice Vivien!
I was never told where the three Kings came from. Too busy concerning themselves with telling us we were all going to hell, not concentrating on the nicer things. Damn those High Anglicans.

You must really have a good grip as to how the program works. I am too used to Illustrator and things like that where (to me) you have more control.

it was the Christmas carol ....

'We three kings of Orient are,
bearing gifts we travel afar.....'

as a 5 year old I thought Orientar had 3 kings Embarrassed

incidentally, a tutor told me recently that nowhere does the bible mention either kings or the number 3 - it merely says certain wise men from the east ----- the 3 kings is just tradition

it's a bit like drawing with a bar of soap trying to draw with a mouse!

It is very hard to get control of this program, that's why I like it so much. It's a real challenge. Somehow Stuf seemed to find a way to harness it and make it look like real art.

This is a remake of the picture 'cascade at dusk' which I first made with pastels. The picture below is just of a flashlight on a table.
